Why
No production workflow is the same as another… Notable Organizer takes this fact into account, and allows you to structure your work as easily as if you where using a normal file system. You create folders, name them and organize them according to your own requirements and business rules. You can share any folder with other users, and invite new users to access your folders.
Notable Organizer has three types of folders. The Project folder allows you to set several extra settings such as start and end date, the Folder is only a simple container, while the Order folder allows you to add any custom values, such as the products that should be included in this specific order, the photo angle etc.
The Order folder is the most important item, as it carries all necessary information regarding the images or other files that will be placed in the order folder, such as the products in an image, the photo angle etc. You may have any number of Order types, to allow for varying requirements when shooting single product, multiple products, or model shoots. Each order type also supports custom file naming rules.
No more spreadsheets
Organizing a photo shoot can be a daunting task, often involving several people, each with their own area of expertise. A common work practice is to mail around spreadsheets of product data, that need to be filtered, sorted, updated with additional data, and painstakingly managed across the team. This is then sent off to the photo studio, where someone will use the spreadsheet to plan the photo shoot, identify physical products, and even cut and paste info from the spreadsheet to name files and add image meta data. Notable Organizer takes most of this pain away by allowing everyone involved in the process to collaborate and benefit from already existing knowledge.
Better collaboration
Notable Products allows you to import product data from any Excel spreadsheet with your product data well ordered in columns. The product data is then used throughout the process, to manage your physical products in Notable Samples, to enrich your photo orders in Notable Organizer, to help the photo studio to know what to shoot and how, as well as name the files and add image meta data without any manual work with the help of our Adobe Bridge extension Notable Shoot.
