At Notable, accessible from https://www.notable.se/ and https://app.notable.se, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Notable and how we use it.

Notable Solutions AB (”we”, ”us”, or ”our”) provides a cloud-based software as a service (SaaS) platform accessible at app.notable.se and www.notable.se, designed for managing large-scale document production, including photographic images. This GDPR Compliance and Data Management Policy explains our role as a data processor, our data handling practices, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Our Role as Data Processor

We operate solely as a data processor in the context of GDPR. We process personal data on behalf of our users according to their instructions. We do not own or control the content that users store or manage on our platform and do not use this content for our own purposes beyond what is necessary to provide and improve the functionality of our service.

3. Use of Personal Identifiers

Personal identifiers are used within our system solely to enable functionality, allowing users to track who performed certain actions and when these actions were performed. These identifiers also facilitate compliance with GDPR, enabling users to request the deletion of their personal data as per their rights under the regulation.

4. Data Processing Activities

When aggregating statistics or analyzing user behavior within the system to improve service functionality, all personal identifiers are removed prior to these operations. This ensures that the processed data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify any individual user.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of personal data, protecting it against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction, or damage.

1. Google Drive Data Accessed by Notable:

Notable leverages Google Drive’s functionality to enhance the user experience. During this integration, we may access the following types of Google user data:

File Metadata: This includes file names, sizes, creation and modification timestamps, and folder structures. Notable does not access the content of the files itself however we do generate the thumbnail and display the same within our application under the respective user-login.

2. Data Protection Mechanisms:

Notable prioritizes the security of your Google Drive data. We implement robust measures to safeguard sensitive information, including:

Encryption: Data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard algorithms (e.g., AES-256).

Access Controls: Only authorized personnel with role-based access can view or modify your data.

Security Audits: We conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.

3. Use of Google Drive Data:

The data accessed from Google Drive is used solely to provide the following functionalities within Notable:

Contextual File Structure Display: We may display relevant files from your Google Drive based on your current activity within Notable, enhancing your workflow.

Collaboration Features: Notable facilitates collaboration by allowing you to share and work on files seamlessly with others through their Google Drive accounts.

4. User Control

We are committed to user empowerment, and provide clear and accessible mechanisms for users to revoke Notable’s access to their Google Drive at any time.

5. Transparency and Updates:

We regularly review and update our privacy policy to reflect any changes in our Google Drive integration or data practices. We will clearly communicate these updates to our users.

 

Log Files
Notable follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Cookies and Web Beacons
Like any other website, Notable uses ’cookies’. These cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. Note that Notable has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.

Our Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in Notable. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.
