Why
Most photo studios are used to receiving order information from their clients in a wildly varying state of order. Each client will have specific rules for file naming conventions and image meta data that need to be followed. To add to the work load the studio also needs to identify physical products, arrange these for the current photo shoot, and understand exactly what the client expects as the final result; should the product be shot at front angle, out of packaging, together with other products etc?
Notable Shoot allows the photo studio to integrate with the Notable platform directly from within the well known environment of Adobe Bridge. This allows real time visibility of the clients orders, with all instructions clearly visible, support for naming files as well as embedding the correct meta data, and even exporting selected files for final delivery.
Off line photo shoots
Notable Shoot is designed from the very start with an understanding that a photo shoot might not always be performed in a location that allows for a live internet connection. This might be in a warehouse with thick walls and no Wi-Fi, or on location at a sunset shoot by the beach in the Caribbean.
While live update of data is not possible when off line, all other functionality is supported, and data will be synchronised once an internet connection is available.
All the details, but no secrets
See what product(s) to shoot, at what angle and how the image is intended to be styled. Then benefit from full automation of file names and image meta data, communicate with the client by showing images and rating, and even manage final delivery. As a photo studio this will help you both with productivity and a less error prone process.
However, as a photographer you may have many images that are not intended for the client to see, such as retouch parts, alternative exposures, RAW files, PSD files etc. We at Notable understand this and therefor allow you to control exactly what gets uploaded to Notable Organizer and shown to the client, while allowing you as a photographer to manage all assets locally.
